താന്‍ താമസിക്കുന്ന മലയടിവാരത്തെ മൂടത്തക്കവണ്ണം
തുന്നല്‍സൂചികളുള്ള ഒരു മനുഷ്യന്‍ അവിടെ ജീവിച്ചിരുന്നു.
ഒരിയ്ക്കല്‍ യേശുവിന്റെ അമ്മ അവന്റെയടുത്തുവന്നു പറഞ്ഞു,
'സുഹൃത്തെ, എന്റെ മകന്റെ വസ്ത്രം കീറിയിരിക്കുന്നു. അവന്‍
ദേവാലയത്തില്‍ പോകുന്നതിന് മുന്‍പ് അവന്റെവസ്ത്രംതുന്നി
കൊടുക്കേണ്ടിയിരിക്കുന്നു. ദയവ്‌ചെയ്ത് നീ എനിക്ക്ഒരുസൂചിതരുമോ?'
പക്ഷെ അവന്‍ അവള്‍ക്ക് സുചികൊടുത്തില്ല എന്നാല്‍ അവളുടെ മകന്‍
ആരാധനാലയത്തില്‍ പോകുന്നതിന് മുന്‍പ് അവന്റെഅടുത്ത്
എത്തതക്കവണ്ണം, കൊടുക്കല്‍വാങ്ങലിനെക്കുറിച്ച് വളരെ
അറിവ് നിറഞ്ഞ ഒരു പ്രാഭാഷണം നല്‍കി പറഞ്ഞയച്ചു.
