Dr Sreedhar V. Kavil (1936 -2016)

Son of  E. K. Nayar & Kunhu Kutty Amma, Kaveed, Guruvayoor, Kerala, India.

It is with deep sorrow that we inform you of the demise of Dr. Sreedhar V. Kavil, Professor of St. Johns University, The Peter J. Tobin College of Business, Queens Campus, and longtime resident of Baldwin, Long Island, New York.  He was a great scholar, economist, consultant to several nations and corporate in the U.S. and abroad. 

The Indian American Community gratefully remembers the various services he rendered to guide and nourishes the known and unknown.  Dr. Kavil was a doyen among Indian intellectuals and academics in the United States; he enriched the Indian American Community since 1971.

The viewing will be on Monday June 27, 2016 from 5:00 to 9:00PM at Park Funeral Chapels, 2175 Jericho Turn Pike, Garden City Park, NY. 11040.

Cremation Puja starts at 9:00 AM on Tuesday, June 28, 2016 at the Park Funeral Chapels with Cremation on at U. S Cremation Co. Located at 61-40 MOUNT OLIVET CRESCENT, MIDDLE VILLAGE, NY. 11379.
