Mrs. Annamma Verghese, 87, of Emmaus, PA, passed away peacefully on January 17, 2017 at Gracedale Nursing Home in Nazareth.

 Annamma was born and raised in Kerala, India.  She was the wife of the late M.T. Verghese. She worked as a school teacher in Bombay until her retirement at age 59. She was an active member of the Marthoma Church, Dadar, Bombay. 

Annamma is survived by her beloved children, Thomas Verghese (and wife Anna),  Cherian Verghese (and wife Annie), her grandchildren, Eliana Verghese Hempel (and husband Tyler  Hempel),  Andrea and Danielle Verghese. 

Services will be held on January 21, 2017 at 11:00 am at Jerusalem Western Salisbury Church (3441 Devonshire Road, Allentown, PA 18103). Calling hours will be held prior to the service, from 9:30-11:00 am, at the church.
