With deep sorrow, we inform you that Dr. KP " Subu" Subrahmanian, of The Woodlands, TX passed away on November 30th, 2017 after a courageous battle against glioblastoma.

Dr. KP had a successful career as a research scientist at MIT, 3M and Huntsman where he helped to invent advanced materials for planes/rockets and space technology. He held multiple patents and published numerous articles and book chapters.

He was married to Indira (Devi). He is survived and beloved by his wife, his daughter Chitra (spouse Brian), son Krishnan (Shwetha), grandchildren J'kai, Leela and KiaanParth (KP), elder sister Ganga Devi (Calicut Kerala, India) and younger brother Dr. Krishnan Namboodiri (Falls Church, VA). Dr. Krishnan Namboodiri is a very active member and a long time associate of KAGW.

Funeral Services:
Services will be held on Saturday December 9th, 2017 at Magnolia Funeral Home 811 South Magnolia Boulevard Magnolia, Texas 77355. Visitation begins at 10am with Services and Cremation beginning at 11am.http://magnoliafunerals.com/obits/index.html
