It is very easy to just say or write the about religion without researching the impact they made on human civilization. Like any other phenomenon, this topic has all sorts of tragic side-effects. The practice is sometimes turned out to be harmful in many respects. However, overall, it has done good to the human race. It brought some sort of moral order in the midst of chaos. • Regular practice of religion is good for personal physical health: It increases longevity, improves one's chances of recovery from illness, and lessens the incidence of many killer diseases.

So please don't sound like a broken record trying to blame religion for all ills of the society. Study the human being more deeply. He/She needs the touch of the supernatural (God) in order to carry himself forward. The society will end up in utter chaos and will definitely self-destruct if religion is entirely pulled out of our daily lives. All the atheist communist regimes realized this truth from their own experiences.
