A German court has asked a dissident group in Germany, who has announced a Global World Malayalee Council Conference not to use the name.

This group has been using the logo and name of World Malayalee Council claiming to be global leaders for some years. In USA and India this dissident group can neither use the logo nor the name World Malayalee Council because of patent registration.

According to the Global General Secretary Mr. George Kakkanatt, “This group of dissidents from World Malaylaee Council has been misleading the businesses in Kerala and raising funds  for a conference in Germany on behalf of the World Malayalee Council. "

George said, "There is only one World Malayaleee Council and it is conducting the eighth biennial global conference in Dallas, Texas, USA from May 25-28." For more information, please visit www.wmcglobal2012.org According to Jolly Thadathil, Germany, the Global Vice Chairman of the World Malayalee Council, to mislead the people this group sometimes use the name WMC.

There has been a previous decision by the German Court asking this group not to use the name World Malayalee Council."

The current chairman of the World Malayalee Council is Soman Baby, Bahrain and President Mr. V.C. Praveen, Chennai.
