“There are days when I wonder why God took two people and not me,” said Jojo John, 36, weeping as he turned to address his victims’ relatives, who were in the Rockland County courtroom to watch John get sentenced to one ​year ​for each per​​son he killed.

“Not a day goes by that I wish it had been me that had died, not them,” John said as the parents of tragic 30-year-old bride Lindsey Stewart and the brother of her groom’s best man Mark Lennon, 30, cried.

“I’m so sorry,” said John, who accepted a plea deal on a vehicular manslaughter rap.

“I loved Lindsay and Mark with all my heart. You’ve always been in my heart,” he told their kin, “and I can’t wait to one day hug all of you. I’m heartbroken. Since that day, my life has not been the same. It will never be the same again. I miss the hugs that Lindsay gave me, the gorgeous smile she had,” John said, and Mark’s “infectious laugh and having him by my side.”

The packed courtroom included more than 60 people who showed up on John’s behalf, although none of them spoke.

But even Ray Lennon, Mark’s brother, and another boat passenger that night, Dan DiIorgi, both of whom did speak, said John was not solely responsible for the Hudson River accident.

They said the docked barge that he ran into in the darkness did not have proper lighting.

“I know he’s devastated by what happened. [But] he alone is not responsible,” DiIorgi said.

Ray Lennon told the judge that speaking at John’s sentencing was “more difficult” than delivering his brother’s eulogy.

“We are not here to speak ill of Jojo John — he must live with actions for the rest of his days,” Ray Lennon said.

Lennon then derided the sentencing as “incomplete justice at best,” lashing out at the “unknown and unscathed” others responsible.

Lindsay’s future husband, Brian Bond, who was among four people also injured in the crash that night in July 2013, was not in the courtroom.

The couple, who met in high school, were two weeks from marrying when the crash occurred.

They’d been out on the moonlit pleasure cruise aboard John’s 21-foot Stingray power boat to celebrate their upcoming nuptials.
