Ranbir Kapoor and Shruti Haasan recently appeared in a light bulb advertisement and boy did they look cute! Seems like that advertisement made Ayan Mukerji put on his thinking cap and approach the duo for a movie.

If sources are to be believed then Ayan Mukerji has approached his good friend Ranbir and Shruti for his next flick. Interestingly, their fathers Rishi Kapoor and Kamal Haasan were co-stars in the film Saagar about two decades ago.

We also hear that the Kapoor scion and the Southern belle are childhood friends and are keen to star opposite each other in a project.\

Reportedly Ayan is working on a super hero film which is said to release sometime in 2017.
