Rev. Dr. Thampan was a teacher, writer and pastor. He committed his life to serving the public good. He has contributed and participated in community services, charitable organizations and activities including establishing "Fast Freight," a soup kitchen for the homeless and "Helping Hand" organization.
He also supported a school for the blind in Southern India. He was president of the Lions Club and
member of the Kiwanis Club. He edited and published various books and articles.
He received his Doctor of Philosophy from California Graduate School of
Theology. He received his Bachelors of Arts in History at Warner Pacific
College.
He was married to his wife, Susheela Thampan, for 50 years. He is survived by two children, Jacob and Jennifer.
