Snippets on Nature (Dr. Anna Sekhar)

1.
From a pretty strawberry pink, then to
A bold orange, the beautiful moon
With a matte, satin finish
Lights up the dark, velvet Southern sky.
The trinkets of stars twinkle,
And the different planets
Show their august presence,
Here is a celestial panorama
In the night of a crisp winter.

2.
Grey velvety clouds carpet the sky;
No breeze for a music,
No rain for an accompaniment;
Still as stars, the weather
Seems clandestine about today!
Lo and behold, will the glorious sun
Make it a day of gold? Or will
The weather remain surreptitious!

3.
A bunch of English Lavender,
Awes you in their mauve;
Colourful azaleas and geraniums,
Poses ready for a click;
Magnolias invite you
with a courteous bow;
The chirping of the birds
Adds symphony to this beauty, making
Nature's imperfection a perfect galore!

4.
A beautiful winter morning
Temperature not more than eight;
A melodious chirping of birds
Their music aligning to the soft breeze;
A glory of leaves swaying and a
Display of their rhapsody;
Every season has its charisma
A charm never to miss.

5.
A crisp autumn morning sunshine;
The kookaburras group laugh heartily,
Lorikeets busy chatting the day's plan
Sitting on a bottlebrush tree,
Magpies pick their food from
the green lawn - their grocer;
The lousy spiders delve in their web.
Mother nature has a variety to offer
Where nothing is perfect!!

6.
The emerald green grass heightens
The turquoise blue sky changes
To a heavy charcoal grey,
The wet summer becomes coolish autumn; breezy winter follows..
The leaves meander and fall,
Bright flora bloom for winter.
Changing colours of the seasons
Show change is the only permanent thing!

7.
A pot of beautiful rose
Has entered our lives;
With ample buds and tender leaves,
My love, my little one arrives!
Talk to them, they reply swaying!
Their refusal to grow if devoid of attention, proves,
They love being loved, and,
They have feelings too!

8.
Day retires when done 'n
Night takes over;
With wetness, 'Tis work for fauna!
Birds aint slumber as
Rain engulf the nests;
Flora aint resting; leaves sway!
Humans petrified hearing wild thunder,
what makes you fiery Mother
An answer only U know!
