Bible Old Testament was compiled during the Babylonian exile period in a language that the people can understand. The name of Nod land was different during Adam and Eve’s time. There is no use for such names for the exile people. So its new name is given that people can identify. Just as the name of ‘ommikkunnu’ if it is true was not the name of the place in the beginning. Somebody named so afterwards. Those days, people lived close to thousand years. One generation was 60-100 years those days. Many generations and thousands of people can be there in your life time. Those who talk against God and religion have not a single proof to question the existence of God. What they cite is their imagination (thonnalukal). Bible says the fools think in their heart there is no God. They want no discipline or restrictions on their way of life and do not want to follow God’s moral and ethical laws. This comes out of their selfishness to lead a life as they please. They think they are free and those who follow religion are in chains. On the other hand the atheists and agnostics are a miserable lot. Their hope is in this life only. If everything goes well they are happy. Those who believe in God and have hope in God, and call upon God, they have hope even in difficult situations and hope in a life beyond this life. Such hope gives meaning and purpose for their life and gives happiness and peace and comfort even while going through difficulties. Bible says the name of God is a refuge for them in difficulties to find comfort in the name of God. May God give all peace and comfort!

Mr. Mathulla, Why you trying to squirm when answering who Caine married? When he was sent away to wander on earth Adam had no other children. Seth was born to Adam later. So Cain should have married someone who was not made by the god in the bible and living outside the area. Old testament is the story of one tribe only. When Cain was sent out, even if Adam had other children not mentioned in the bible and there was nobody else on earth, it means Adams children married among themselves. So brothers and sisters were husbands and wives too. Then Mathulla has to admit that the "Morality" he is preaching changes according to necessity. there is no standard definition for morality. Dear friends, Faith is taught when a child's brain is not fully developed. All other subjects are taught at certain age as the brain can absorb. When there is no valid answer to questions or statements some people turn to name calling, mocking or changing subjects. Most of the comments here are of such nature. Literally ‘matham’ means pertaining to faith or opinion, and as such atheism also is a religion or opinion. Naturally there are religious fundamentalists in atheism also. They believe what they believe is the only truth, and have no tolerance for people with a different opinion. It doesn’t strike them that most of the inventions and discoveries were made by people who believe in a God. Another group here believes there are mistakes in other religious texts, and they are looking for mistakes and trying to prove mistakes. Cain’s marriage is just one of it. Adam’s wife Eve was from his own body or same blood. Abraham married her sister Sarah. Marrying sisters were common in even Roman times. Laws against marrying sisters came much later in Bible as part of the Law of Moses. Right and wrong is relative depending on the time period we live. Cain could easily marry a grand-daughter of Adam from third or fourth generation, and live hundreds of years as was usual those days. Genesis was told as a story for people to understand God and His creation. If somebody want to believe that there were other people there not in the line of Adam and Eve, let them believe so, and respect the opinions of others also. There is no reason to argue about it.
