Dr Rajen S Anand passes away
Activist, community leader and writer Dr Rajen S. Anand
passed away. He served in the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) as
Executive Director of the Center for Nutrition Policy and Promotion in
A free-lance journalist, Dr. Anand has published over 350 news stories and articles in various newspapers and magazines, in addition to his many scientific papers in national and international journals.
He was a former president of the NFIA and served as chair of the Indo-American Political Association; Asian American and Pacific Islander Caucus, and many other organizations.
He is survived by his wife Mrs. Angela Anand, two sons and several family members.
