24ന് ന്യൂയോര്‍ക്കിലെ യു.എന്‍ ആസ്ഥാനത്തുനിന്ന് മാഡിസന്‍ സ്ക്വയര്‍ ഗാര്‍ഡനിലേക്ക് 25,000 പേരുടെ പ്രതിഷേധമാര്‍ച്ച് നടത്തുമെന്ന് പാട്ടിദാര്‍ അനാമത് ആന്ദോളന്‍ സമിതിയുടെ പ്രവാസിവിഭാഗമായ ഓവര്‍സീസ് അനാമത് ആന്ദോളന്‍ പ്രഖ്യാപിച്ചിരിക്കുകയാണ്. കറുത്ത വസ്ത്രം ധരിച്ചും കരിങ്കൊടി പിടിച്ചും മോദിയെ പ്രതിഷേധമറിയിക്കാന്‍ ന്യൂയോര്‍ക്കിലെ പട്ടേല്‍ സമുദായക്കാരോട് ഹാര്‍ദിക് പട്ടേലും ആഹ്വാനം ചെയ്തു.

OFBJP condemns anti national Patel’s protest in USA

Overseas Friends of BJP (OFBJP) – USA condemns the proposed Patel’s protest backed by the inimical forces of India during the annual United Nations visit of India’s Hon. Prime Minister (PM) Shri Narendra Modi during the last week of September in US. While overwhelming majority of the Patel community of Indian Diaspora are wholeheartedly supporting the high profile US visit of India’s Prime Minister, a minuscule group of Patels from Edison, New Jersey who are backed and sponsored by the malevolent groups are making noises in the press and media about their ill-advised protest. Blatantly false reports are being filed in the press and media that about 1000 Patels met in Edison, New Jersey on Sep 9th and made a decision to boycott the PM’s US programs. Only about 30-40 people met during that meeting as per the eyewitness accounts. 

OFBP-USA National Executive committee including the President, Shri Chandrakant Patel; Past President, Shri Jayesh Patel; office bearers, ShriRaju Patel, Shri Arvind Patel, and Dr. Vasudev Patel; and active members, Shri Harish Mehta, Shri Harish Patel, Shri Brajesh Patel, and Shri Nirav Patel have said that over 500 Indian organizations are involved in organizing the grand community reception event in San Francisco.  “These organizing groups also include the entire Patel community, Gujarati, Hotel and Motel Owners, Christian, and Muslim associations of USA”, they added. 

OFBJP-USA appeals to this small wayward group of Patels to withdraw their ill-advised protest and work with the Indian Diaspora in the successful conduct of the community reception. If they have grievances, they can seek audience with the Prime Minister and submit him their demands. OFBJP-USA is in touch with this specific Patel group and educating them about the sinister designs of Congress party, which lent support to this ill-conceived protest. OFBJP-USA advice these people not to fall for the devious designs of antinational forces that bring disrepute to India in a foreign land. 

OFBJP-USA vehemently condemns the attitude of India’s opposition party Congress who could not reconcile to their severe drubbing at the hustings during 2014 India’s parliamentary elections and subsequent state and local body elections. Congress has not learned lessons from their defeat and has been trying to stall the developmental programs of BJP led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government. 

Congress has been shamelessly pursuing destructive politics inside and outside the parliament, and it is solely responsible for stopping some of the crucial bills that are critical to the acceleration of India’s development. Congress does not want BJP to succeed and wants India to fail on all fronts. Probably, such kind of opposition party does not exist in any advanced or developing countries in the world. Indian Diaspora is extremely angry at such kind of political parties and politicians in India who tries to bring local issues to offshore, thus belittling India’s prestige and honor. They have no idea of projecting their Motherland positively at the International level.
