Pope’s statement is shocking (John Panicker)

The 93-year-old declared atheist reporter, Eugenio Scalfari of La Repubblica, set the social media world aflame after writing in Italian that when asked about the fate of "bad souls," the pontiff responded, "Hell does not exist."

The pope continued, according to Scalfari, saying (emphasis ours), "The disappearance of sinful souls exists."

The statement above is shocking!!!!

Holy Father is absolutely wrong. Why Rome is trying cover up? If Pope did not say so- why not he come out and says so in public? I read the transcript of the interview  - it is shocking and against all the teaching of the church. It is shaking the foundation of the church.  “Now I say to you that you are Peter (which means 'rock'), and upon this rock I will build my church, and all the powers of hell will not conquer it.” On these words of Christ the Chair of Pope exists.

Revelation 20:11-15 11Then I saw a great white throne and him who was seated on it. It is time for a Council like  First and second councils of Nicea, Constantinople, Ephesus, Chalcedon, second and third councils of Constantinople,  and others. When the teaching of the Church is challenged- to reestablish her faith.
