I made a crystal cube with my dreams
Hundreds of faces it had all around
I touched and kissed it thousand times
Sharp and crispy, the spell of a dream.
Morning and evening I took the cube
Turned it around and I made a song
A melody of dreams I sang in the night
A mockingbird sang with me all night long.
The light fell upon the cube and scattered
It made a rainbow with light shattered
My dreams had feathers of thousand colors
I flew to the stars with wings stretched.
A slip of hand smashed my cube in a stroke
A tingling noise, there lies the shattered glass
The dreams and hopes fell and broke
Who can glue the thousand pieces together?
The cube of dreams may fall and break
Pieces lie on the floor, a dream shattered
Like a Mocking bird I’ll sing till the day breaks
A new song of hope will never leave my lips.
