STOP THE BUS (Samgeev)
The City is turbulent, bright and dark
It dances with hood spread, fangs hidden
Don’t get enchanted in its charm
Stop the bus and return to your farm.

Return home, go to your farm in haste
Take your sheep to the flowing streams
Don’t be trapped by the beauty of flames
Fly not near the flame and burn your wings.

The oxen know the stables and barns
The sparrows know the time of return
The fish return to the brooks where born
Stop the bus and return to your farm.

Guide the plough in your own farm
Sow the seed of love in your own field
Water it day and night, watch it grow
Don’t run away, go back before the night

A village girl is tantalized by the beauty of a big City. She runs away to the City leaving behind her loved ones and the farm she loved very much. But she changes her mind on the way, when she was riding to the City in a bus.
The poem was written from the inspiration of a Short Story.
