കാലമേ മറക്കുമോ സ്മൃതികളില്‍ മറയുമോ
മധുകണങ്ങളിന്‍ മധുരമൂറൂമീ സൗഹൃദം
പഴയ കൗമാരബാല്യകാലങ്ങളിന്‍
ഇഴകള്‍ നെയ്‌തൊരീ സൗഹൃദം!
ഒരു മഴക്കാലത്തില്‍ ഒരു കുടക്കീഴില്‍ നാം
ഒരുമയില്‍ ചേര്‍ന്നു നടന്നതും
അയല്‍വക്കങ്ങളില്‍ കൂട്ടുകാരവര്‍
അത്ഭുതത്തോടെ നോക്കവെ,
നാണമില്ലേ എന്നു ചൊന്നവര്‍
ഒത്തുചേര്‍ന്നു ചിരിച്ചതും...
കാലമേ മറക്കുമോ....
ഒരുദിനം നീ കൊതിച്ചൊരാമ്പല്‍ പൂവുകള്‍
ഞാന്‍ പറിച്ചു നിനക്ക് നല്‍കവെ
എന്‍ വിരലുകള്‍ നിന്റെ കൈകളില്‍
ആദ്യമായ് സ്പര്‍ശിച്ചതും,
ലജ്ജ തോന്നിയൊരാ നിമിഷം
നീ മുഖം കുനിച്ചതും
കാലമേ മറക്കുമോ....

ഓർമ്മയുടെ പൂക്കാലം ഇടക്കെല്ലാം കാലം
നൽകാറുണ്ട്. സുഖമാണ് അത്. കവി പക്ഷെ
പെട്ടെന്ന് വർത്തമാനകാലത്തേക്ക്
മടങ്ങി വന്നു. വളരെ പറയാതെ.

Thank you Sudhir for the valuable comment of appreciation on my poem Balyakala Souhrudam. It is written as a song with a tune in my mind. This is the reason for making it short with chorus and two stanzas only.

കാലം മറന്നാലും മായാതെ നില്ക്കും ചില ഓർമ്മകൾ. ആദ്യ സ്പർശനം തൊടുത്തുവിട്ട വൈദ്യുതീ തരംഗങ്ങൾ ഹൃദയത്തിനുള്ളിൽ കവിതകളും കഥകളും കുറിപ്പിച്ചൊളിഞ്ഞിരിക്കും.

അസ്സലാമു അലൈക്കും ഡോക്ടർ സാഹിബ്.
ഞമ്മന്റെ കൗമാര കാലത്ത് മൊഹബത്തിന്റെ
പെരുന്നാൾ ആയിരുന്നു. അയല്പക്കത്തേ
മൊഞ്ചത്തികൾ ആയിരുന്നു മെഹ്ബൂബമാർ.
ഓർക്കുമ്പോൾ ഖൽബ് നിറയെ ഒരു
അത്തർ മണം. ഇങ്ങടെ കബിത ബായിച്ചപ്പോൾ
കസ്തൂരി തൈലമിട്ട് മുടി മിനുക്കി ബീവാത്തു
ഇത് ബഴി ബന്നു. ഇങ്ങനെ ഇങ്ങടെ
അനുഭവങ്ങൾ എയ്തി ബിടുക. ഞമ്മളെപോലെ
ഇന്നും യവ്വനം ഉള്ള പഹയന്മാർക്ക് പെരുത്ത്
സന്തോശം ആകും.

I agree with E-Malayalee reader. E-Malayalee writers need some people to challenge their writings. And, Vidhyadharan, Anthappan, Chanykkyan, Mollakka, Naradan are all good in it. Vidhyadharan was a headache for many people, but lately I don't see him. We love you.
