കാനഡയിലെ മലയാളം എഫ് എം റേഡിയോയായ മധുരഗീതം ഇരുപതാം വാർഷികത്തോടനുബന്ധിച്ച് സംഘടിപ്പിച്ച കാനഡയിലെ ആദ്യത്തെ പാൻ കനേഡിയൻ ബ്യൂട്ടിപാജന്റ് സൗന്ദര്യസങ്കല്പങ്ങൾക്ക് പുതിയ മാനം നൽകി. മിസ് ആന്റ് മിസ്സിസ് മലയാളി കാനഡ പാജന്റിൽ, കാനഡയുടെ വിവിധ ഭാഗങ്ങളിൽ നിന്നും എത്തിയ 29 മത്സരാർത്ഥികളാണ് വേദിയിലെത്തിയത്. 

സെലിബ്രിറ്റി ജഡ്ജ് പൂർണിമ ഇന്ദ്രജിത്തിന്റെ സാന്നിധ്യം മത്സരത്തിന് കൂടുതൽ തിളക്കം നൽകി. ഫിലിം പ്രൊഡ്യൂസറും ആക്ടറുമായി ടോം ജോർജ് കോലത്, മിസ്സ് ആൻഡ് മിസ്സിസ് കാനഡയുടെ സിഇഒ യും ഫൗണ്ടറുമായ ആനി മാഞ്ഞൂരാൻ എന്നിവരായിരുന്നു മറ്റ് വിധികർത്താക്കൾ. 

മിസ് കാറ്റഗറിയിൽ അനീഷ ജോർജ് ടൈറ്റിൽ വിന്നർ ആയപ്പോൾ ഹുനൈന നവാസ് ഫസ്റ്റ് റണ്ണറപ്പും ഗിഫ്റ്റി ഷാജു സെക്കൻഡ് റണ്ണറപ്പും ആയി.

മിസ്സിസ് കാറ്റഗറിയിൽ ജനനി മരിയ ആൻറണി വിജയ കിരീടം ചൂടിയപ്പോൾ,മിലി ഭാസ്കർ ഫസ്റ്റ് റണ്ണറപ് സ്ഥാനവും വീണ ബേബി സെക്കൻഡ് റണ്ണറപ് സ്ഥാനവും കരസ്ഥമാക്കി. കാനഡയിലെ ആദ്യത്തെ പാൻ കനേഡിയൻ പാജന്റിന്റെ വിന്നേഴ്സ് എന്ന നിലയ്ക്ക് ചരിത്രത്തിലേക്ക് നടന്നു കയറിയ വിജയിതാക്കളെ കാണികൾ വലിയ കരഘോഷത്തോടെ അഭിനന്ദിച്ചു.

 കഴിഞ്ഞ ഇരുപത് വർഷമായി കാനഡയിലെ മലയാളത്തിന്റെ ശബ്ദമായി നിലകൊള്ളാൻ മധുരഗീതത്തെ സഹായിച്ച എല്ലാവർക്കും, മധുരഗീതത്തിന്റെ സിഇഒയും പ്രൊഡ്യൂസറുമായ വിജയ് സേതുമാധവനും ക്രിയേറ്റീവ് ഡയറക്ടർ മൃദുല മേനോനും നന്ദി അറിയിച്ചു.

Miss & Mrs Malayali Canada 2024: A Night of Beauty, Poise, Confidence, Elegance and Empowerment:

An event organized by Toronto based Madhurageetham 101.3FM marking their 20th year milestone anniversary! This highly anticipated pageant took place in Toronto, with 30 finalists across Canada in both Miss and Mrs category. The organizers behind Miss & Mrs Malayali Canada are Vijay Sethumadavan, CEO and Co-Founder and his wife Mridula Menon, Pageant Director and Co-Founder. They also run the Malayalam FM Madhurageetham that completes 20 years of radio broadcasting this year. In their words - Over the past 2 decades, Madhurageetham fm has been a vital source of connection for the community, providing news, entertainment, and cultural programming that keeps the Malayali spirit alive, even far from home.

This pageant is an extension of their vision to be a voice for Canadian Malayalees and to provide a platform for Canadian women of Malayali origin to showcase their talent, grace, confidence and above all feel empowered and embrace their cultural richness. This pageantry is a testament to their commitment to preserving and promoting the rich cultural heritage of Kerala within the Malayali diaspora in Canada.

The esteemed panel of judges included Fashion Icon, Actor & Television personality Poornima Indrajith, Actor/Producer/Business Executive Tom George from New York and Annie Manjuran, CEO and Founder of Mrs Canada Inc.

In the Miss category, Anisha George was crowned as Miss Malayali Canada 2024, Hunena Navas was the first runner-up, and Gifty Shaju took home the second runner-up title. In the Mrs category, Janani Maria Antony was crowned as Mrs Malayali Canada 2024, Mili Bhaskar was the first runner-up with Veena Baby finishing as the second-up winner. The Title winners Anisha and Janani get a direct entry into Miss and Mrs Canada Inc that will take place in July in British Columbia.
