കണ്ണൂര്‍: കേരള ഗവര്‍ണര്‍ ആരിഫ് മുഹമ്മദ് ഖാനെതിരെ വിവാദ പരാമര്‍ശവുമായി സിപിഎം സംസ്ഥാന സെക്രട്ടേറിയറ്റ് അംഗം എം സ്വരാജ്. ഭ്രാന്തുള്ളവര്‍ക്ക് എംപിയോ എംഎല്‍എയോ ആകാനാവില്ലെന്ന് ഭരണഘടനയിലുണ്ടെന്നും എന്നാല്‍ ഭ്രാന്തുള്ളവര്‍ ഗവര്‍ണര്‍ ആകരുതെന്ന് ഭരണഘടനയില്‍ പറഞ്ഞിട്ടില്ലെന്നും എം സ്വരാജ് പരിഹസിച്ചു.
കണ്ണൂരില്‍ കെഎസ്ഇബി ഓഫീസേഴ്‌സ് അസോസിയേഷന്‍ പരിപാടിയില്‍ സംസാരിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു അദ്ദേഹം. ആരിഫ് മുഹമ്മദ് ഖാന്‍ ഭാവിയില്‍ കേരള ഗവര്‍ണറാകുമെന്ന ദീര്‍ഘ വീക്ഷണത്തോടെ ഇത് ഒഴിവാക്കിയതാണോയെന്ന് നമുക്ക് പറയാന്‍ സാധിക്കില്ലെന്നും അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു.

It appears that the CPM in Kerala doesn't learn lessons from any debacle. Malayalees don't want this party to be completely wiped out from Kerala, like what happened in West Bengal, Tripura, Meghalaya, since they are a secular party. The remark by Mr. M Swaraj is unacceptable and the party should correct it ASAP. They should realize that the BJP is gradually growing in Kerala and if correction steps are not taken, we will see what will happen in Local Bodies' election and the Assembly election in 2026. Once CPM is voted out of power, it could be a herculean task for them to return to power again.
