INANY’s First Free Continuing Education Conference in New York on March 29

The Indian Nurses Association of New York (INANY) is gearing up for its first Continuing Education Conference of 2025, scheduled for Saturday, March 29th, at The Kerala Center. The event, themed "Empowering Minds and Transforming Lives: Advancing Health Through Education," offers four free continuing education credit hours to all attendees, with no INANY membership requirement to participate.
The conference features a diverse lineup of presentations. 

Grace Geevarghese, a nurse practitioner at Northwell Health, will discuss "Women and Heart Disease," while Wilonda S. Green, Senior Program Manager at Northwell Health, will address "Human Trafficking." Dr. Narendra Singh, director of surgical intensive care unit at North Shore University Hospital and an expert of critical care medicine and sleep medicine, will provide an overview of "Obstructive Sleep Apnea." Additionally, Dr. Solymole Kuruvilla, Dr. Shyla Roshin, and Dr. Anna George will lead a session on "Anti-Asian Hate: Raising Safety and Equity," as part of INANY's collaboration with the Coalition of Asian American Children and Families under the New York State AAPI fund to combat anti-Asian hate incidents.

The conference will run from 10 am to 4 pm at The Kerala Center, located at 1824 Fairfax Street, Elmont, New York 11003.
