1.
Start of a study term,
I am as happy as a lark!
Waiting to meet my new group virtually
Share their joys and experiences,
Be a part of their growth;
And be there for them when they are in need.
The joy of an academic guide
That my soul finds sacrosanct.
2.
A brisk start to a day
An interesting start to the week,
With many exciting events awaiting;
Helps one realise that learning to cherish what we have,
Worshipping the work we do,
Gives that divine happiness
To our body, mind and soul.
3.
I cherish every Monday morning
With a blythe of starting work,
A bliss hearing my chirpy students',
A sheer joy seeing their smiles.
A feeling of love when I start lectures
A sense of accomplishment after...
Moulding the future and being a
Part of their success and tough rides
Makes it a complete cycle.
4.
A harbinger of divine rapture
Engulfs me as I see my dear students-
Some who have graduated,
Some who'll in a year or so!
A sheer fulfilment when they ask if
I'll supervise their research sojourn?
This is that blythe to my soul
A satisfaction my profession gives me
That no money equals!
5.
Its soothing to hear my students,
A sheer joy to see their smiles,
Rewarding when sharing our ideas,
And, simply a blessing to know them!
Nothing gives me more happiness
Than guiding my students, and,
being a part of their growth.
Nothing seems more divine than
My work that I worship and that I love.
6.
Tis a joy to see smiling faces
Virtual or in person don't matter;
'Tis a joy to have an aspiring bunch
Desiring to learn new concepts;
'Tis a joy to hear them chirp
Showing their genuine interest;
My students from different places
Trust I'd do my best for them.
