Understanding people is an art
That some strive to possess;
It is not always about ourselves
But it is also about others;
Thought about feelings of others,
Help, care and empathy,
Love and kindness, soothes the soul;
Godliness lies not in fanatic actions
But understanding the soul.

When you need to lean on
There would be some who
Offer their shoulder unconditionally;
Some offer with conditions,
Some pretend to be busy,
Some'd say their shoulder hurts.
The one who truly cares listens
'N stays with you through thick and thin
That special one is a rare find.

It is always called 'give and take';
Taking and not giving
Or giving but not receiving
Does not balance the equation.
Its always called ' love and be loved';
Loving unconditionally but receiving
Conditional love in return
Again does not balance the equation.
What goes around comes around,
This balances the equation.

People come into your life for a reason,
People exit your life for a reason,
People remain for a reason,
These reasons have no reason;
Understand the above although no
reason, for some events are best
Understood without reasons.

Those who shower love
Seeing your status and money
Are a short-lived relationship.
Their path would change anytime;
The ones who exhibit jealousy
Would burn you alive seeing you grow.
Abstain from knowing these people.

You weep after I die, I will not know;
You praise me after I die, I will not hear;
You hug me after I die, I will not feel;
You miss me after I die, I will not know;
Whilst I am alive, sit with me & laugh,
Do not bad mouth about me,
Give me a warm hug that gives me your warmth.
Be around me when i need a hand
For I do not exist only to be made use of when you need!!

People like to be called busy, but
Hate to hear the word from others.
People like to say they are tired, but
Hate to hear the word from others.
People like to grow in their ways, but
Hate to hear growth from others.
Life does not favour only one group
Life is a circle; what goes also comes.
