Unemployment and poverty may be one reason. May be the religious terrorism by RSS/Sangh Parivar and also Radical Muslim terrorism in certain parts of India, may be another reason. Unemployment is very high in last 10 -15 years. I may be wrong, but it's just my thought. Many areas of development India has gone backwards such as production. Also high import of day to day things cause high inflation. Common man cannot afford many things such as Computers, phones and appliances.

I am encouraging the writer to show (his) writing to someone who can meaningfully read it and explain it to (him). (His) comments are disparaging, misogynistic, and malicious.
